Caterpillar Larvae Kits

Grow live Painted Lady Butterflies (Vanessa cardui). Get live caterpillar larvae shipped directly to you in a clear rearing chamber complete with caterpillar food and instructions. After the butterflies emerge, try breeding them yourself, instructions included! All you need is the a Painted Lady Butterfly "host plant" for the adult butterflies to lay eggs on. The Mallow Plant is one of the painted lady's favorite host plants, but there are dozens of different plants they will choose from. Once your new generation of eggs hatch, the caterpillars will be very hungry, and the mallow plant is the perfect source of food for them.

No problem if you do not have their favorite host plant readily available, you can always order some special Painted Lady Artificial Diet to feed your caterpillar larvae. It's great educational fun for your whole family!
